You may notice something unusual here – no negative reviews! That’s intentional.

There’s no such thing as a “bad book”. There are many wonderfully varied ways stories find their readers: tastes change, timing matters, and something that doesn’t resonate with us today could become a fast favourite in years to come. This is simply a space to celebrate the books that have moved me, intrigued me, or taught me something new. Each one of them has, in its own way, earned a place in my life and – if the timing is right – might find a place in yours, too.
